Creating 21st Century Learners!

Hello Parents,

I wanted to make you aware that I have put up a Donors Choose link for our classroom. I don't want you to feel obligated to donate but thought you should know what I am doing and why! 


Learning in my classroom is accomplished by creating, exploring, and experimenting. My challenge is we are living in a technology based world and that isn't something I have been able to implement as much as I would like.

My students are technology savvy and I want to utilize this skill that they have. They will use these iPads to read eBooks on RazKids, take Accelerated Reader quizzes and play literacy activities that are on their reading level on ReadingEggs. They will also use the iPads to practice math fluency facts that will set the foundation for future success in mathematics. 

I continually work to create engaging and effecting center based learning but what I am lacking is technology for these 21st century students.
