TOP BANANA THIS WEEK!!!
Student of the Week
Your child will get the chance to be the "Top Banana" for a week. You will have a letter sent home the Friday before when it is his/her turn. You will get a question sheet to answer and bring back on Monday. Please also send a few photos (up to9). These photos should have pictures of your child as a baby, now, pictures of your family and anything else you would like. The photos will be returned to you at the end of the week! You will also get our class mascot and a journal sent home on Friday. Please write in the journal and tell us what you did with him all weekend.
Monday: Top Banana Bag
The Friday before the student is Top Banana a bag will be sent home with the child. The student will collect special items from home and bring them back to share with classmates on Monday. Students should also bring photos to display on the "Top Banana" bulletin board.
Tuesday: George and Traveling Journal
The student will share what they did with the George and read their journal entry.

Wednesday: Favorite Book
The Top Banana brings one of his or her favorite picture books to read to the class (or have the teacher read to the class) at our class meeting.

Thursday: Eat lunch with a Family Member
The student will eat lunch with family member or a special friend.

Friday: Top Banana Award
The student will be awarded with the "Top Banana" Award and pencil.
