We created adjective creatures! Each student was able to create their very own creature and they had to use adjectives in their writing to describe what the creature looked like.
Now that we are calendar professionals we take turns leading calendar!
We did take sometime throughout the week to break for lunch!
Later in the week we continued to compare numbers and discussed one more.
We partner read this week and practiced pausing for punctuation. We take a deep breath and hold our hand out signaling to stop!
We are starting to add more adjectives into our writing to make it more exciting for our readers!
In Science, we learned about our five senses! Each day we learned about a new sense. On Monday, we played a memory game with our senses of sight. On Tuesday, we used our senses of hearing to predict what was in a bag. On Wednesday, we used our sense of touch to predict what was in a bag. On Thursday, we used our sense of smell to predict what was in a cup. On Friday, we used our sense of taste to predict what we were eating.
We finished the week with a stick snack and we loved describing the snack using our five senses!!
WOW, can you believe how much we learn in kindergarten? We work super hard all day but it sure is fun!
