That doesn't mean we should stop learning! Have your child explore their surroundings to practice reading,writing, math, science, and social studies. Have them read the words on the signs, write their sight words in chalk, count how many shapes they see in the neighborhood and graph them, experiment with how objects move, create a map of your neighborhood and try to follow it, and take the time to pick up a few books and read!
